Garrison is an experienced litigation paralegal who assists attorneys prepare high-stakes arbitrations and cases for trial in federal and state courts.
From pre-indictment investigations through trial, Garrison has considerable experience assisting attorneys in all phases of pre-litigation, litigation, and appeals, and has confidently navigated internal investigations, complex business disputes, civil false claims actions, product liability cases, personal injury matters, and securities actions. In addition, Garrison has acted as the lead paralegal in several federal and state white-collar criminal defense matters involving issues such as tax evasion and obstruction, violations of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, wire fraud, mail fraud, securities fraud, medical fraud, and violation of the anti-kickback statute. He has also assisted attorneys in all aspects of discovery, including depositions, witness interviews, and research on potential expert witnesses, and has prepared comprehensive timelines and multimedia demonstratives.
Garrison is proficient with different, cutting edge e-discovery platforms, trial presentation software, and practice management tools. At trial, Garrison has conducted research on potential jurors during voir dire, coordinated witness appearances, and prepared trial exhibits.
Prior to joining BIENERT | KATZMAN PC in 2015, Garrison assisted attorneys defend leading commercial transportation companies in catastrophic injury, regulatory compliance, and complex business actions.

Following a three-day jury trial, Garrison helped attorneys secure a complete defense verdict for a professional athlete in a civil suit filed by a paparazzi alleging assault and battery.
Assisted attorneys in representing a doctor charged with five felony counts of tax evasion and obstruction. After three years of intense litigation, the team exposed serious prosecutorial misconduct that led to the removal and discipline of the entire prosecution team and IRS investigators.
